I got tired of wrestling badges and broken images into my GitHub README, so I made a thin scrolling stack instead.
Why I built it
I was fixing my GitHub profile README again. Images went missing, badges ate half the page, and lining everything up meant another round of HTML. Even when it worked, it looked like every other profile. The decorative badges could survive without me.
I wanted one thin row for the tools I actually use. README Stack lets me pick them, put them in order, and drop a scrolling SVG into the page. If I want to change it later, I can open the builder with the same setup instead of picking through README markup.
What it does

Search the tool catalog, arrange your selection, and preview the SVG before copying it.

Embed a hosted image URL in a profile README or link back to its exact builder configuration.

Choose light, dark, or transparent styling, motion, direction, speed, spacing, and tool labels.
Made for READMEs
The result is a self-contained SVG. It makes no third-party requests when someone views it, and there is a static version for people who prefer reduced motion. The catalog has 745 tools, so there is a decent chance yours are in there.
